NEOSIS is looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner to strengthen its team on iPension 1st for the Swiss Social Assurance domain of the 1st pilar.

Your role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you help our customers to define and design their processes (as-is and to-be) as well as elicit requirements for the design of new digital solutions. You act as an interface between the business and IT. Your interlocutors at our customers will be decision-makers, users, business experts on one side and IT experts on the other.

With a strong expertise in business analysis, you will join our team and support our customers by conducting the following activities:

  • Lead the full “business analysis” lifecycle from business needs to the analysis and the solution design in collaboration with the business and technical stakeholders and according to proven methodologies.

  • Solve our client’s challenges through a structured approach, identifying project risks and effectively communicating suggested mitigating actions with relevant stakeholders.

  • Lead assigned tasks and activities on time and on budget according to defined guidelines and methodologies.

  • Conduct workshops with our clients to guide them through the different phases of the product.

  • Analyze and elaborate the as-is, optimize business processes and technology usage, to achieve the targeted result in alignment with global guidelines, local regulatory, and IT requirements.

  • Elicit and document business needs, efficiently driving the business analysis.

  • Manage and prioritize requirements on the different level (Epic, Features, Stories)

  • Proactively design solutions bridging the gap between technology and business, ensuring proper stakeholder information and management

  • Testing and validation of realized solutions.

Your profile

For our role of “Senior Business Analyst”, you have the following skills and experience:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in IT / Business Administration with specific skills on actuarial

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as business analyst in the full business analysis lifecycle, preferably in Swiss pension domain

  • Excellent knowledge of the 1st pillar required Ideally.

  • Ability to design the development of a 1st pillar management tool.

  • Ability to write from customer requirements to detailed specifications.

  • Ability to analyze client problems and to specify and structure pragmatic solutions.

  • Experience facilitating and leading workshops with heterogeneous stakeholders.

  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills

  • Active listener, problem solver, facilitator

  • Experience in Agile, understanding of product backlog, writing requirements in the form of user stories.

  • IT background in java development and SQL both for reading queries and for correcting existing data is a plus.

  • Affinity combined with the will to learn and keep up.

  • An entrepreneurial and open mind as well as the ability to carry out diverse mandates simultaneously.

  • Strong ability to work autonomously and to work collaboratively in a distributed team.

  • Experience in one or more pension funds relevant to Swiss Romandie.

  • Experience in working with standard collaborative tool suites (JIRA, Confluence, etc)

  • Fluent in French and English, German is a plus.
