Your role

In this role you will report to the delivery manager of the area. In the customer service delivery department, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of our Windows-based systems infrastructure, both internally and for our clients. 

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT environment. This role requires a solid understanding of Windows operating systems, server technologies, and strong troubleshooting skills. You will be understanding the inner working of our clients specificities and apply Elca Cloud Services’ best practices and processes to provide a stable, dynamic, and secure environment.

In the team you will oversee:   

  • Implement and maintain various applications and services, with a focus on Microsoft technologies (SQL, IIS, WSUS, AD, PowerShell,…) and VMWare.

  • Design, configure, and optimize system architectures. within an organization's IT infrastructure.

  • Monitor system performance to ensure availability, reliability, and security.  Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft Server environment, ensuring minimal disruption.

  • Provide 3rd level support for systems-related issues, troubleshooting to resolution.

  • Offer expert knowledge in internal applications and contribute to customer projects.

  • Utilize automation tools such as Puppet and Terraform for streamlined operations.

  • Working with Project Managers to plan and execute smooth migrations from on-premises systems to ELCA Cloud Services.

  • Develop scripts and workflows using PowerShell or other languages repetitive tasks and improve diagnostics and resolutions.

  • Windows server

  • VMWare/vSphere

  • Veeam

  • Active Directory

  • Group Policies

  • SQL Server

  • Exchange

  • IIS 

  • WSUS 

  • Powershell

  • Storage technologies

  • Network concepts and security (Firewall, Proxy, WAF, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs) 

  • Monitoring and automation tools (Puppet, Terraform, CheckMK).

For Lausanne and Geneva, you have an excellent command of spoken and written French and English.
