Senior Cloud Engineer

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using industry best practices. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop cloud solutions that meet business needs.
• Configure and optimize Linux systems for maximum performance and scalability.
• Monitor and maintain cloud environments to ensure uptime, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, and associated technologies.
• Implement and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on Sysadmin and Linux.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Proficiency in Linux system administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, particularly Shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and Java frameworks.
• Proven experience working in Cloud environments, specifically OCI and AWS. 
• Utilizing technologies from the Cloud and BigData technologies such as ElasticSearch, Hadoop, Spark…
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
