We are searching for a new VP Engineering who is a dynamic and passionate Leader to work in our SECUTIX Technology Hub in Lausanne. Your main mission is to run 8 to 10 geographically distributed teams in charge of products and sub products of the SECUTIX portfolio of innovative ticketing solutions. You will interact with the Product Management function to ensure new solutions are delivered with quality and pace, while guaranteeing the overall stability and evolution of the various platforms together with your cloud engineering teams.

VP Engineering

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team of circa 150 software engineers, architects, devops engineers, cloud engineers, quality engineers and IT senior managers, distributed in multiple teams in Vietnam, Switzerland, and Spain
  • Guarantee the stability and quality of the entire portfolio of solutions
  • Ensure the delivery of our technology transformations and modernization initiatives on selected products of the portfolio
  • Ensure continuous improvement of quality, technology consistency and operations of the platforms
  • Participate to SECUTIX product vision 2027 to make the portfolio evolve and welcome new products after technology due diligences
  • Direct reporting line to CEO of SECUTIX and be part of the SECUTIX senior management team

Your profile

  • 15 years+ tenure in software delivery with increasing delivery responsibilities
  • Proven experience in a SaaS / Software delivery organization
  • Proven leadership skills to handle a 150+ software development organization on multiple locations
  • Proven experience in performing engineering due diligence of thirdparty software, and post-acquisition integration
  • Strong track record of growing and transforming software engineering organization, in a distributed, multi offshore and agile | devops model
  • Proven track record of improving and technology refactoring solutions at scale
  • Strong software and cloud architecture background
  • Fluent English; French, Spanish or German is a strong plus
  • Ticketing experience in live events or transports is a plus
